3 Days and Counting!

These last two days have been sheer craziness.

On Sunday the team came in to pack for Palau. We had all our black footlockers out and started the long packing process. The team came in at 2pm and stayed for a good 3 hours.

Today we had the Traveling Picture Show Company visiting us. They came in at 9:00 am and started to shoot. They needed interviews and information about the ROV for an upcoming documentary.

They started with getting some shots of the students working in the classroom.

The TV crew next went to set up the interview space.

They started the interviews with Luke Olson.
Luke talked about how he got involved in Robotics, what it means to him and his connection to the military.

Next to be interviewed was Karly Kruger.
She was asked about her first time in Palau, what the project meant to her and lastly what she hopes to gain from this experience.

The last student to be interviewed was Jeremy Spink.
Jeremy talked about his role on the robotics team and his connection to the military and our mission.

Before his interview Emma Morris had to fix up Jeremy's makeup.
Mr. Richards was also interviewed and explained more in detail about our mission and his experience and connection to the military.
We ended the day with the TV crew shooting some of our students walking into the school, overall we had a very productive day.
With the weather dropping into the 20's I can easily say we are all ready to be in Palau.
