We started our day with the annual breakfast at Palm Bay Bistro.
At breakfast, we talked about our plans for the day and how we were going to attack them.
We returned to the hotel following our delicious breakfast to get all our gear, and we started moving it all down to the marina.
At the marina, we attempted to test the ROV off the dock, but the rain wouldn't allow us to. We camped out in the air conditioning until the rain slowed enough for us to safely test DINGAR and the Deep Trekker. Both ran smoothly and we had little issues with either one of them. We then took a quick break to eat lunch at the Drop Off.
While waiting for a boat to come back so we could start our dive, the girls went grocery shopping, and the boys continued to test and work with the ROV until Bentprop arrived back at the dock. Bentprop unloaded their gear and handed the boat off to us.
We cruised out to a known target, the Jake Seaplane. We then set up and deployed the ROV. We were able to successfully image the Jake with our ROV. Next we tested the Deep Trekker and were able to image the Jake with that as well, utilizing our many drivers. After both ROV's were pulled in and put away, we took a swim break and were able snorkel over the plane and see it through the crystal clear Palauan water.

Upon arrival to the marina, we followed our after dive procedures and packed up the ROVs. After the team rested a little and cleaned off we all walked over to Kramer's for dinner. The team slowly and tiredly ate, then returned to the hotel and passed out.
We all agreed that today was a very successful day.
Tomorrow is our first work day.
Derek and Pat from Bentprop will be going out with us.
Wish us luck!
