Today the team stated their morning at 6:50 am. in the lobby. We drove over to the battleship Missouri and started our first tour. During the tour we were able to stand exactly where World War II ended and see how the crew lived aboard the ship. After the Missouri tour we headed over to the Pacific Aviation Museum to give our presentation. We gave our presentation at 10:00 am then got a tour of the museum. The team was able to see many museum quality aircraft, some that we have even seen under the water, including a Japanese Zero. Along with seeing complete aircraft the team was also able to see multiple planes getting repaired.

After the Pacific Aviation tour we went over to USS Arizona memorial. We watched a 20 minute film on the Arizona and Pearl Harbor then went out on a boat and road over to the memorial. We spent around 20 minutes at the memorial and then went back to shore. At shore we were able to tour a submarine and see more memorials and tributes to our fallen soldiers.

We finished up at the museum and memorial then returned back to the hotel. At the hotel the team dispersed to do our separate things. The boys headed to the beach and went surfing while the girls laid at the beach and relaxed.
Today was a day I feel the team won't forget. Tomorrow is another important day, touring and presenting at JPAC.
