This morning we woke up to the eye of the storm. Though not nearly as intense as predicted at the 7:00 am brief we all decided that it would be best to wait to 11:00 am to see if there was any change in weather. The delayed start to the day also gave the team time to sleep in, which no one complained about.
At 11:00 am the team got back to together to decide on what we were going to do the rest of the day. With the weather not permitting we scrubbed the boat day again. Next we had to come up with our plan for the rest of the day. We decided to work on packing so we could pre-send some boxes, we also decided to leave behind a few things to make travel easier.
The team was able to ship multiple footlockers home along with all the post cards, and a few coconuts and spears (the boys had to have them). Being able to ship all this back allows the team to have a much smoother plane ride and travel. Today the team also had some last minute errands to run such as ATM runs and groceries for the plane ride. The team went out to dinner alone one last time to the Drop Off. After dinner the team headed back to the hotel to begin to pack and get ready for our last day in Palau.
Tomorrow we have a little bit of filming to do for O TV and we also have the BentProp team dinner, then our flight leaves at 2:30 am.
